The Answers You Need

How to choose a class

Details of the age range classes are suitable for can be found here.  Children must be the minimum age on or before the first class of the term. We are happy to advise you which class to start your child in and when to move them onto the next level.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How to book

Classes are booked on a termly basis.  We strongly advise booking in advance as classes can sell out quickly. We offer priority booking for a small fee.  It is sometimes possible to join part way through a term. The booking will automatically adjust the amount you pay.

Trial classes

Children are welcome to join us for one trial class, subject to availability, for £27. Trial classes are only released in classes with availability when the term begins.
If no spaces are available in your chosen location, we will endeavour to find an alternative class for your child, please contact us.

Class Size

In order to keep ratios small and teaching personal, we have no more than 12 children in each class.
We do, however, need a minimum of six children in each class to be able to run it. In the unlikely
event we are unable to fill an advertised class we will refund the fee in full or try to find you an
alternative venue.

Fees

Our classes are £27 each.
11 week terms - £297 and 10 week terms - £270.

Siblings

If siblings enrol within the same term, second and all subsequent siblings are eligible for a 20% discount. The discount will automatically be applied when you pay for both children in the same booking.  All siblings over 6 months attending a class together must be enrolled - where possible we suggest one adult per child.

Class Length

Our classes are 40 minutes for Baby and Toddler Classes and 45 minutes for Preschool Classes.

Make up classes

We try our best to accommodate up to two make up classes per term. These are subject to availability
and we ask that you book in with us in advance. If your usual class location is full, then we can arrange a
make up class at another venue. Unfortunately, we can’t reschedule missed make up classes and we
don’t allow classes to be carried over into the next term.

Adult participation

Adult participation is a key part of our program, whatever the age of the child. Studies have shown
that when children are exposed to music alongside a parent or carer, cognitive, emotional and social
development is enhanced. We also want your time at The Little London Music School to be a shared
and enjoyable experience.

Terms and conditions

By booking you agree:

  • No content will be copied or reproduced in any way

  • The adult in attendance will be fully responsible for your child for the duration of the class and your time in the venue

  • Not to leave your child unattended at any point

  • Please note that teachers can’t take responsibility for your children

Cancellation Policy

If you can no longer attend classes, please email info@thelittlelondonmusicschool.com. If notification is received more than 14 days before the start of term, a full refund will be offered. If 7-14 days notice is given before the start of term, a £15 administration charge will be deducted from your refund. If less than 7 days notice is given, The Little London Music School will deduct £25 from your refund. Refunds cannot be offered once the term has started. Bookings can not be transferred.

In the unlikely event that The Little London Music School cancels a class, a replacement class may take the form of either a pre-recorded or rescheduled live class, at the company’s discretion. During the period of COVID19 restrictions, we may be unable to provide trial or make-up classes.

All classes are attended at your own risk. Little London can take no responsibility for any person who contracts COVID-19.

COVID-19

We aim to keep class groups as consistent as possible, and provide each child with their own socially distanced mat space and set of instruments. Trial and make up classes may be limited at this time. It is suggested adults attending wear a mask for the duration of the class. All surfaces and instruments are throughly disinfected and windows kept open for ventilation.
